Gear up Birchbox fans, the May 2012 box just might knock your socks off. Birchbox has teamed up with the makeup and hair department at Gossip Girl to bring you the Gossip Girl Birchbox!
The May 2012 Gossip Girl Birchbox will contain hot beauty products inspired by Manhattan’s chicest girls. I have been a fan of Gossip Girl since the very first episode (although I sort of lost interest in this past season). The show is most known for starting and always showcasing the latest fashion (headbands, anyone?) and beauty trends so this should be a very interesting partnership. I’m loving the fancy box art reminiscent of the Cynthia Rowley Birchbox from last year!
Season finale clues will also be part of the in-box materials to drive fans to tune-in for the season finale of Gossip Girl airing Monday, May 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

I haven’t posted about my boxes for awhile. I just didn’t get the feeling my readers were that into it. I got some traffice when I posted just from people that googled them but I don’t think those readers ever stick. Is there no longer a waiting list?

If you are already a subscriber do you automatically get this? I missed out on the Teen Vogue Birchbox, I was never given the option and while I did like my box that month I would have definitely preferred the Teen Vogue one.
Yes, current subscribers get this one automatically. So, did Birchbox choose who got the Teen Vogue box and who didn’t??
I guess so? From the blogs I’ve read of people that did get the Teen Vogue they said they got an email asking if they wanted the Teen Vogue or the regular and they got to decide which but I never got that email asking which I wanted.
Uh oh, sounds like a major oversight on their part. I did see the Teen Vogue box and I would have totally picked that one too, I think I’ll always be a teen at heart!
I think the special edition boxes are always gonna be better than the regular ones so I don’t wanna miss them! I was really happy with the products that I got in my regular box but I wanted the Tarte lip tint and the Essie polish from the Teen Vogue. Both of those products were full size!!

Yep, all subscribers will get the Gossip Girl box for sure. I applied to be on the “Birchbox Bloggers” list so I now get first hand news from them to share with all of you as soon as I get it!

This is the first I’m hearing of the GG box and I am so beyond excited! I’ve followed the show since the beginning and Jenny was always my fave character! Ahhh this is awesome!
