Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Nail Lacquer – Violet Metal

My first experience with a Rimmel polish has proven to be fantastic!  I purchased Violet Metal during the CVS beauty clearance and gave it a go over the weekend.  I love this color and I love the brush even more!  It is a flat brush that’s rounded at the end and I think it’s just perfect.  Take a look:

The flat and rounded brush:

I used three coats (which is what I do with any polish) and I think it could have used one more to look a little better.  It dried quickly but was not FULLY dry and I nicked it in two places right after.  Grrrr!  I personally don’t see that the color is lasting any longer than other polishes.  I’ve had this on for three days and I see the normal wear and tear on the tips just like with others.  I will most definitely buy more of this polish mainly for the awesome brush and I’m eager to see what some other colors look like!

Have you tried Rimmel polish?  If so, what did YOU think?

I freaking LOVE that brush. I have that Rimmel Base/Top Coat from that same line and it’s so awesome, that brush is seriously a life saver. I plan to buy more in actual colours!! I just couldn’t believe what a steal the base/top coat was for how good it is!
