Hard Candy Cosmetics has already won me over with some of their other products (So Baked Bronzers and Baked Blushes are some of my favorite products ever!) and I was eager to try the lip gloss. I really liked the Hard Candy* Plumping Serum Volumizing Lip Gloss and I’m not surprised!
First, I like the look and bigger size of the lipgloss packaging! It’s easy to handle and looks like a test tube in a bottle! Details, I like the details, is it just me? The shade I have is All American Girl and is a nice, sheer pinky peach (hope that makes sense!).
When worn you do get that tingly sensation, as with all of the “plumper”-type glosses I’ve tried, but it’s not overwhelming and it plumps your lippies just right! As I said, this shade is a nice, more sheer color and looks great alone or would be a nice complement to your favorite shade of lipstick! It has some nice staying power but reapplying is necessary after about 2 hours, as with most.
Overall, I would recommend this lipgloss as it a very wearable, plumping lip gloss that does the trick! You can find Hard Candy Plumping Serum at Wal-Mart for around $6.
